Business Markets
ZIA capitalizes on twenty years of expertise in renewable energy, encompassing development, operations, and construction management, to optimize the development of Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind projects.
Our consulting services are dedicated to the development of distributed generation (DG) and utility-scale renewable energy projects within the ERCOT market. We have also successfully completed projects in the MISO, SPP, and WECC markets.
Business Focus
ZIA specializes in three key areas in renewable project development:
- Investigate - Provide site selection, optimization, technology selection & power marketing strategy for initial project concept.
- Engineer - Manage interconnect engineering for interconnecting utility and ISO through Notice to Proceed (NTP).
- Interconnect - Provide capacity study DG & utility scale research, submit pre & formal interconnect apps, obtain interconnect agreement and oversee all facets of utility and ISO interconnection up to NTP.
Experience & Relationships
ZIA renewable energy professionals have management experience overseeing large commercial wind, BESS & solar projects, federal contracts, and fast paced communication tower construction projects. They have supported renewables since 2006, with successful completion of: 1GW wind development, 1GW onsite wind construction management, 1GW solar development and 400MW BESS development.
This deep and diverse experience in the wind, BESS & solar industry has led to strong relationships with utilities, investors, industry advocacy groups, consultants and vendors in all aspects of development, construction and operations. Maintaining and building strong relationships with project stakeholders is what keeps us building new and exciting projects.
